Sweden is a country with a total population of about 9.5 million. Based solely on the number of the population, that of Sweden is smaller than that of Tokyo (about 13.2 million). Nevertheless, the country continues to fascinate with its significant presence, comparing favorably to metropolises around the world.
Could it be because of world-famous Swedish companies?
Could it be due to the government's approach of continually taking progressive action?
Or is it the power of the country with the Nobel Prize?
In addition to these factors, is it possible that many others are hidden in our familiar, ordinary life? Ones which are clues to why Sweden attracts people, and which could lead to a new model for society?
With this as our premise, we bring you “SWEDEN DAY/WEEK IN TOKYO”, an event which anyone from anywhere can enjoy―be they family, business, or individual;
Japanese or Swedish. As we near our third year, we will hold an event that is somewhat more expansive than last year's. Welcome to this year’s “SWEDEN WEEK IN TOKYO”!
